Welcome to Montana

Our Big Move (And What It Means for You)

April 25, 20262 min read

Like most big things, it started slowly, a little seed of an idea, that was planted about 5

years ago, on a road trip. Recently, that slow start on the big thing became a quick

reality.

Here’s the big thing: I’m moving to Montana.

Soon.

Now, unlike the 1973 Frank Zappa song, I’m not going to become a dental floss tycoon

(seriously, his song, “Montana” is weird and wonderful).

Five years ago, my daughter and I took a summer road trip through Wyoming and

Montana. She was learning to drive and thought that driving in a different state would

somehow be profoundly different. Turns out, as we long-term drivers know, it’s not

much different at all, although the spaces are much, much more wide-open in Wyoming

and Montana than city driving in Denver. I loved the open space. I came home and talked

about how much I loved Montana.

Four years ago, my husband and I took a winter road trip through Wyoming, Idaho and

Montana. Turns out, he loved the wide-open spaces too.

Three years ago, we bought a little off grid cabin in Montana, thinking it would be a nice

occasional place to escape to.

Since then, we met the loveliest bunch of people, my husband started working in

Montana and we found ourselves dreaming about the “what if” of a big move.

Now, my husband’s work is taking him to Montana full-time, and I’ve made steps to make

my business portable. We’re excited to announce that we are, indeed, heading out to

an adventure in those wide-open spaces.

Here are the logistics: I’ll do my last day in my Denver office on May 21, 2026, and take

the next week off to move. Starting the first week in June, you’ll be able to attend

therapy virtually (zoom or phone, whatever suits you best). Quarterly, I’ll return to

Denver to see clients in person. The cool thing is that those in person quarterly

sessions will be at my same address, just in one of the downstairs suites, instead of the

upstairs Suite F office. Fees are staying the same, as is my basic schedule. EMDR will

still be available. We can do this!

Looking forward to fielding any questions you may have. Thanks in advance for your

support of my adventure.
