Did You Know I Do More Than Therapy?

Did You Know I Do More Than Therapy?

Wow!  I can’t believe it is fall already!  The weather is finally getting cooler, the leaves are turning, and I have already started thinking in the back of my mind about things like holidays, winter sports and how to get child care for fall and winter breaks that are coming up at my child’s school.

I thought it might be nice to tell you a little bit about what I have been doing outside of my therapy practice.  Turns out, while I love doing therapy, I really enjoy reaching bigger audiences as well!  As a result, I have been doing some corporate work, providing coaching, consultation and training so businesses, and the good people who work in them, can understand themselves and their co-workers, decrease politics at work, become better leaders and function better as organizations overall.  Corporate work like this is so much fun for me to do, and especially gratifying when I hear feedback that people and the businesses they work for are doing better, with less stress and more enjoyment.  I have several great folks I refer to for this work as well, including a leadership expert and a career coach, so feel free to reach out to me if you could use these resources.

I have also been writing more.  I have a had some special opportunities to guest post on a few blogs, and am spreading the word about how to know your brain, improve your habits and create fabulous relationships.  With my delightful business partner, Joshua Johnson, we are posting content on healthy relationships and ways to improve how you feel about yourself and your life on our facebook page:  Science & Spirit.  Feel free to like the page and receive helpful tips, tools and strategies to feel great in your life.

Another blog I have been posting for is the http://www.soulfulfillingrelationship.com site.  The purpose of the site is to help single women “looking to attract and keep Mr. Right” and is a great co-authored concept, so you can always count on a variety of information on human psychology and relationship dynamics from professionals in various fields.  Here is a link to one of the posts I recently contributed to: http://www.soulfulfillingrelationship.com/am-i-in-love-or-am-i-in-love-with-the-idea-of-being-in-love/

As always, thanks for reading.  I hope you are happy, healthy and feeling well connected!
