Over the past several years, I’ve heard more and more that mental health concerns are intruding into the workplace. Stories like “my anxiety means I can’t do that presentation to the VP’s,” or “I’m crying too hard to come into work today,” or having trouble giving feedback to a poorly performing employee. Conversely, yesterday a long time corporate guy was talking to me about how an employee assistance program literally saved his job when alcoholism was making a hostile takeover in his life.
In partnership with The Resilience Institute, we’re doing a study to see exactly how mental health issues are impacting the workplace. To get baseline statistical viability, we need at least 100 team leaders to take the survey. It’s 20 questions, you can’t get an answer wrong. It will only take about 7 minutes (or less) of your time. You can access the survey by clicking THIS LINK.
Anyone who runs a company, team, division, board or an organization is a candidate for the survey. Solopreneurs you count too. Please take it for your team and then pass along to other leaders you know. I’ll post results once the numbers have been crunched!
Thanks so much for your help.
